What is the Gelding Program?

Rolling Oaks Rescue, LLC is committed to reducing the unwanted equine population in Eastern Ohio and the surrounding areas by providing assistance with the gelding of a stallion. Veterinary studies show that gelding a stallion at an early age is safer than gelding at an older age. Gelding at a young age provides quicker recovery for the young stallion. A gelding is normally easier to own, board/stable, educate,  and care for than most stallions.  

As long as funds are available, Rolling Oaks Rescue LLC will pay up to  $100.00 directly to the veterinarian of your choice for the gelding operation.  Please download and complete the application from the link on this page.
